Nokia N9 is not the only mobile phone-based MeeGo operating system released by Nokia. Secretly, the Finnish mobile phone vendor also released a handset that also carries the Nokia N950 MeeGo. N950 is not sold to the general market.
The handset with a sliding qwerty keyboard style is apparently intended only for developers or application developers MeeGo. So the number of production units would be limited.

Apparently this is an Nokia effort to supports developers for develop applications of MeeGo. Nokia N950 specifications identical to Nokia N9 eg 1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM, but it was bigger.

Nokia N950 existence has actually been confirmed since last March. At that time, officials revealed the Nokia N950 will be directed to the developers.

I sure hope they also make Nokia N950 available to the general public and not only developers. I would love such a phone with keyboard. Otherwise I will have to be happy with N9 which is still awesome.
